Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cocoa
    2/3 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cocoa and milk; cook until a drop forms a soft ball in cold water or 232\u00b0 on thermometer.
    Add butter, salt and vanilla.
    Beat until smooth and satiny.
    Pour into buttered 10-inch glass pie pan.
