Unbaked Caramel Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. margarine or butter
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. butterscotch pudding (not instant)
    3 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
Preparation
    Combine sugar, butter and milk in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil, stirring all the while.
    Remove from heat and add pudding mix (dry from package).
    Add oatmeal.
    Cool 15 minutes.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
    Makes 5 dozen.
