Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
3 eggs, well beaten
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 level tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. stewed prunes, chopped and drained well
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
Add chopped prunes.
Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan for 40 to 45 minutes or until done at 350\u00b0.
