Macaroni With Tarama - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. thin macaroni
    3 oz. tarama
    1 c. oil
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    2 qt. water
    tomato puree or fresh tomato
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Boil macaroni in
    salted water.
    Drain without rinsing. Return to saucepan; pour in
    half\tthe
    oil,
    which
    has
    been heated, over the macaroni.\tFry
    onions
    in
    rest
    of
    the oil until golden brown.
    Dilute
    tomato
    puree;
    bring to boil and add a bay leaf and seasoning.
    Add
    this to onion.
    Cook until sauce thickens.
    Add tarama after mashing it with a fork.
    Let it boil with the tomato sauce
    for\ta few minutes.\tPour sauce over macaroni.
