Skillet Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. canned tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can green beans
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced carrots
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. instant rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cook beef in skillet; add onion and spices.
    In large pot, cook tomatoes, beans, carrots, rice and water until rice is tender; add meat mixture to rice mixture, adding water if needed. When stew has reached desired consistency, serve.
    With less water, stew can be served as a casserole.
