Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
    1 jar maraschino cherries
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    In deep 9-inch round skillet or baking pan, melt butter.
    Add brown sugar and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Pour crushed pineapple on melted brown sugar in bottom of skillet or baking pan and to the sides.
    Arrange cherries.
    Prepare cake mix according to directions on box.
    Fill prepared pan 3/4 full and bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until done. While cake is hot, run a knife around edge of cake and invert the cake on a serving plate.
