Kristi'S Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, mixing well.
    Add vanilla. Mix in flour, sifted with salt and baking powder, kneading toward the last if necessary.
    Refrigerate 1 hour.
    Roll out a little over 1/4-inch thick.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until lightly browned.
    Try dusting your board with a combination of flour and sugar.
    It prevents sticking and you won't work in additional flour which hardens and toughens cookies.
