Taggart'S World Famous Peanut Butter Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (12 oz.) can Eagle Brand condensed milk
1/4 lb. margarine
2 lb. powdered sugar
1 (12 oz.) jar peanut butter
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
Preparation

Pour the milk in a large saucepan.
Sift the sugar on top of the milk.
Heat at medium-high, stirring constantly to help melt the sugar.
When the sugar has completely melted, continue to heat until a slow boil occurs and some slight scorching is evident.
Be sure to continue stirring to prevent burning on the bottom.
Remove from the heat and add in the peanut butter, marshmallow cream and margarine.
Mix well.
Pour into a buttered dish and let cool before cutting.
