Creamy Mashed Potato Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 c. mashed potatoes
    1 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 1/3 c. French fried onions, divided
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, sour cream, milk and garlic powder; mix well. Spoon half the mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with 2/3 cup onions and 1/2 cup cheese. Top with remaining potato mixture. Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until hot. Top with remaining onions and cheese. Bake 5 to 7 minutes longer. Serves 6.
