Honey Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 1/2 c. lukewarm milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. soft shortening
    7 to 7 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Measure into mixing bowl the warm water.
    Add, stirring to dissolve, the yeast.
    Stir in the milk, sugar, salt, eggs, shortening and flour; mix well.
    Turn onto well floured board and knead.
    Put into greased bowl; let rise until double in size. Punch down; let rise again.
    Roll into rectangle as for cinnamon rolls.
    Spread with Honey Filling.
    Slice into 1-inch pieces and place in muffin tins.
    Place more Honey Filling on each bun as they bake.
    These should not get real brown.
