Onion Dill Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. warm water
    3 Tbsp. melted margarine
    1 heaping Tbsp. instant minced onion
    2 tsp. dill weed
    1 1/2 c. lukewarm buttermilk
    7 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Put the dry ingredients in flour sifter, except onion and dill, with one cup of flour and sift in a large mixing bowl.
    Mix yeast with warm water; let activate about 12 to 15 minutes.
    Add egg and margarine; beat well until blended.
    Add buttermilk, onion, dill and enough flour to make a stiff dough.
    Knead and let rise until double in bulk.
    Stir down, divide in half and press down into 2 well greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 35 minutes.
