Buttercream Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg white
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
vanilla to taste
Preparation

Beat egg white until it forms a peak.
Add sugar and beat again.
Scald 1/2 cup milk and pour over egg mixture.
Set aside to cool.
Beat butter and Crisco.
Pour liquid mixture over creamed shortening and beat again.
Add vanilla to taste.
Mixture will curdle but keep beating until mixture is smooth and creamy.
