St. Louis Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cauliflower
    1 medium bunch fresh broccoli
    1 small red onion, separated into rings
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Separate cauliflower into flowerets.
    Cut in pieces.
    Chop broccoli.
    Combine cauliflower, broccoli, onion, bacon and cheese. Mix sugar and mayonnaise together; add to vegetable mixture.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Refrigerate overnight to blend.
    Serves 8 to 10.
