Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (9-inch) unbaked pie shells
3 eggs
2 3/4 c. cooked sweet potatoes
1 c. brown sugar or 1/2 c. honey
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves (optional)
2 1/4 c. light evaporated milk
Preparation

Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Combine all ingredients in blender; blend until smooth.
Pour into pie shells.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 325\u00b0 and bake 35 to 45 minutes longer, or until set.
Cool.
Serve with whipped cream.
Yields two 9-inch pies.
