Caramel Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip
    4 c. diced, unpeeled red Delicious apples
    1 c. salted peanuts, cashews or pecans
Preparation
    Combine flour and sugar; blend in egg.
    Add cider vinegar and juice from pineapple.
    Add to flour mixture.
    Cook over low heat until thick.
    Cool and mix in Cool Whip.
    Add apples and nuts. Mix together.
    Keep in fridge.
