Polish Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, chopped fine
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    2 carrots, cut up
    2 onions, cut up
    5 medium potatoes, diced
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 lb. bacon, diced
    3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Combine first 8 ingredients in a kettle.
    Let this come to a boil, then simmer until cabbage is done and potatoes are tender, 25 to 30 minutes.
    Fry bacon until crisp, then add bacon to soup. In bacon grease, add flour and stir until brown.
    Add to soup and simmer until soup thickens.
