New England Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. water
    4 medium potatoes, diced
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 or 3 cans minced clams, drained (keep nectar)
    1/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
Preparation
    Saute onions in margarine until tender.
    Add potatoes and clam nectar and boil until tender in 1 1/2 cups water.
    Remove from heat.
    Thoroughly mix cream cheese and flour, then add to potato mixture and mix well.
    Add celery and milk and bring to a hard boil.
    Then add minced clams and boil 5 minutes.
