Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
2 c. diced or shredded apples
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs well beaten.
Sift dry ingredients together and stir in alternately with the apples and vanilla.
Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0 in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Frost lightly or serve hot or cold with Cool Whip.
