Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick oleo
    8 oz. dates, cut up
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1/2 c. shredded coconut
Preparation
    Simmer egg, sugar, oleo and dates until thickened.
    Add Rice Krispies.
    Drop by tablespoon onto a pan of coconut.
    Roll and shape into balls.
    Let cool.
