Chicken Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken, cut up
    8 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. rice
    3 medium onions, chopped
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
    dash of cinnamon, cloves and allspice
Preparation
    Brown chicken in 4 tablespoons butter and spices.
    Add onion and brown.
    Add tomato sauce and 1 can water.
    Cover and simmer until chicken is tender.
    Add 2 cups boiling water.
    Stir in 1 cup of rice; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
    When ready to serve, brown 4 tablespoons butter and pour over chicken and rice.
