Corned Beef And Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bay leaves
    4 lb. corned beef brisket
    1 medium cabbage, cut in wedges
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and halved
    4 medium carrots, cut in 2-inch lengths
Preparation
    Boil 4 quarts of water and bay leaves.
    Add brisket and simmer 3 hours, partly covered.
    Add rest and simmer 20 minutes or until tender.
