Blueberry Buckle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 c. flour, sifted
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. fresh blueberries
Preparation
    Thoroughly cream shortening and sugar; add egg and mix well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture, alternately with milk.
    Pour into Pam-sprayed 11 X 7 inch pan. Top with blueberries (or frozen huckleberries) sprinkle cinnamon crumbs over berries.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Cut in squares.
    Serve warm.
    8 to 10 servings.
