Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) can shredded sauerkraut
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 large carrots, grated
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    Drain kraut.
    Place in bowl.
    Combine sugar and vinegar in saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Cool slightly. Pour over all other ingredients.
    Chill several hours.
    Yields 6 servings.
