Mincemeat Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 1/4 c. flour
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 pkg. mincemeat, broken in small pieces

Preparation

Cream margarine; add sugar gradually.
Add well-beaten eggs. Add soda to a little hot water to dissolve.
Add half of flour which is sifted with salt.
Mix well.
Add nuts and mincemeat and rest of the flour.
Drop by spoonfuls an inch apart on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
Remove from oven while still soft.
