Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large orange jello
    8 oz. crushed pineapple and juice
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    8 oz. carton Cool Whip
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Prepare tongue by rubbing well with soda; scald and scrape. Boil until tender, remove skin, grind or chop.
    Add 2 apples, chopped, 1/2 cup chopped nuts, 1/2 bunch celery chopped, a little pickles chopped, mayonnaise dressing to make desired consistency. This is a fine substitute for chicken salad.
