Chocolate Chip Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar or 1 3/4 c.
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt or less
    1 1/2 rounded Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix flour with salt and cocoa and dissolve soda in buttermilk. Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add flour alternately with buttermilk.
    Stir in vanilla, chocolate chips and nuts.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for one hour or until done.
