Frypan Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 jar maraschino cherries, drained
2 cans (large) crushed pineapple, reserve juice
1 yellow cake mix
eggs and oil (see mix)
Preparation

Melt butter in large, iron frypan.
Add brown sugar and stir until smooth and even.
Arrange maraschino cherries, spoon on crushed pineapple evenly.
Mix cake mix according to directions, using pineapple juice for liquid.
Pour into frypan on top of pineapple.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
Invert on plate.
Serve with whipped topping.
