Broccoli And Crab Bisque Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sliced green onions
1 c. sliced, fresh mushrooms
1 c. fresh or frozen (thawed), chopped broccoli
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. salt
1 small bay leaf
3 c. chicken broth
1 c. light cream
3/4 c. shredded Jarlsberg or Swiss cheese
1 (6 oz.) can crabmeat, drained
1 clove garlic, minced
Preparation

In a 3-quart saucepan, cook onions, mushrooms, broccoli and garlic in butter until crisp.
Blend in flour, thyme, 1/8 teaspoon of salt, pepper and bay leaf.
Add chicken broth and cream all at once.
Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir 1 minute more.
Add cheese; stir until cheese is melted.
Add crabmeat; heat through.
