Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1/4 c. margarine
    3 c. soft bread crumbs (3 or 4 slices bread)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Heat milk and margarine over medium heat until melted and milk is scalded.
    Mix remaining ingredients in an ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Stir in milk mixture.
    Place casserole in pan of very hot water (1 inch deep).
    Bake until a knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.
    Cook 40 to 45 minutes.
    Serve warm.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
