Lima Bean Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. evaporated milk
3 c. lima beans
1 c. mushrooms
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
fine bread crumbs
1 c. liquid from mushrooms and beans
Preparation

Melt butter.
Add onion; cook until tender.
Blend in flour. Add salt, pepper and liquid; mix well.
(If not enough liquid from mushrooms and beans, add enough water to make one cup.)
Add evaporated milk; blend.
Add beans and mushrooms; mix well.
Place in buttered casserole dish.
Mix the melted butter and crumbs; sprinkle over bean casserole.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 until bubbly and crumbs are browned.
