Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. flour, sifted with 2 tsp. baking powder
    1 can drained peaches
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. drained peach juice with 1 tsp. lemon juice added
Preparation
    Cream 1 cup sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
    Add flour, baking powder and salt.
    Mix.
    Add milk.
    Beat until smooth.
    Pour into greased loaf pan.
    Put peaches over batter. Sprinkle with two tablespoons of sugar.
    Pour juice over this and bake until brown in 350\u00b0 oven.
