Ingredients

1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
2 eggs, well beaten
3 tsp. liquid sweetener (Sweet 'N Low)
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1 c. flour (plain)
3/4 c. nuts
Preparation

Boil fruit 3 minutes; add shortening and cool.
Add rest of ingredients.
Add nuts last.
Refrigerate until well chilled. Drop by teaspoon and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Check at 10 minutes.
