Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks Mazola margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
dash of salt
3 c. all-purpose flour (plain)
Preparation

Before making this cake, put milk, eggs, margarine and Crisco out on counter and let come to room temperature.
Mix together margarine, Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs, milk and flour alternately. Add flavorings and salt.
Put mixture into tube pan.
Place in cold oven and set temperature at 325\u00b0.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
When cake is done, set pan out to cool, for about 5 minutes.
Invert on cake platter.
