Canned Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. milk
1/2 stick margarine
2 (16 oz.) cans fruit, drained
1/2 c. raisins (if desired)
1/2 c. chopped dates (if desired)
Preparation

Melt margarine in baking dish.
In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients.
Stir well.
Add milk and stir well.
Pour batter over margarine.
Pour fruit over batter and sprinkle with raisins and dates.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
