Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. milk

Preparation

Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Cream shortening and sugar together.
Add butter, eggs and vanilla, then add sifted ingredients and milk.
Roll and cut.
Sprinkle with sugar and bake on baking sheet in moderate oven (375\u00b0) for 12 minutes.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
