Carrots With Garlic And Basil - cooking recipe

1 lb. carrots, sliced
1/4 c. minced basil
black pepper to taste
1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Place carrots in a glass pie plate with 2 tablespoons water. Cover with vented plastic wrap; microwave on High for 3 minutes. Coat large frying pan with nonstick spray.
Saute carrots, garlic, basil and lemon juice until fragrant, about 3 minutes.
Sprinkle with pepper.
