Ingredients

1 c. butter or oleo
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. finely ground pecans
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

With electric
mixer
or
food
processor cream butter, brown sugar, egg,
vanilla,
baking
soda
and cream of tartar until smooth and
creamy.
Stir in flour, pecans and chocolate chips. Drop
by
heaping
teaspoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 9 minutes in a 375\u00b0 oven.
