Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. meal
1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
salt to taste
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. cream-style corn
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. milk

Preparation

Saute onion in a little butter.
Mix with remaining ingredients.
Drop by teaspoon into hot grease.
