Delmarva Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. oysters
    1 qt. milk
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Drain oysters of liquid and pour into saucepan.
    Bring to a boil; skim foam from top.
    Add oysters and simmer until edges of oysters begin to curl.
    Remove from heat.
    Heat milk and let it almost come to a boil.
    Add butter, salt and pepper to oysters. Add milk to oysters.
    Serve hot with oyster crackers.
