Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (4 serving) pkg. instant pudding (vanilla)
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour (unsifted)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Combine butter, the sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in large mixing bowl. Beat until creamy and smooth. Add eggs. Mix flour and soda. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Batter will be stiff. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 1-inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 7 dozen.
