Apple Crunch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
5 or 6 apples
Preparation

Sift flour, salt, sugar and cinnamon.
With pastry blender, thoroughly cut in butter until mixture looks like crumbs.
Cut apples into slices.
Put apples in baking pan; sprinkle with walnuts.
Pile mixture on top.
Bake until tender, about 55 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Place under broiler to brown top lightly.
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
Makes 8 servings.
