Lentil-Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. onion powder
    1 tsp. sweet basil
    1 tsp. parsley flakes
    2 c. cubed potatoes
    1 c. cubed or sliced carrots
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    2 c. dry lentils
Preparation
    Cook dry lentils for one hour.
    While the lentils are cooking, add the rest of the ingredients.
    Cook until the lentils are tender.
    Mash slightly.
    One cup of canned milk can be added if desired.
