Macaroni Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni, cooked, drained and rinsed
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can solid pack tomatoes
    2 medium onions, finely chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    4 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Layer 1/2 of each item in a 2-quart greased casserole.
    Then repeat.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
