Oatmeal Flat Bread(Havremel Flat Brod) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 c. quick cooking oats
    1 tsp. soda
    3 c. white flour (or 2 c. white and 1 c. whole wheat)
Preparation
    Cream sugar and melted butter together.
    Add salt.
    Add soda to buttermilk, then add to creamed mixture alternately with flour. Add oats.
    Divide mixture into 2 log shapes.
    Divide as you work in 1/3 cup portions and shape each into round ball.
    Press down and roll on pastry cloth with pin covered with pastry sleeve. Roll paper thin.
    Use lefse stick and roll dough on stick; lift and unroll on cookie sheet.
    Either cut with pastry cutter into squares before baking, or bake and then break into pieces.
