Italian Beef Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    3 c. instant rice
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1 small onion, chopped
Preparation
    In large skillet, brown beef and drain. Drain tomatoes; save juice. Add water to juice to make 2 1/4 cups liquid.
    Add liquid, rice, garlic salt, oregano and onion to beef.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Fold in tomatoes and heat through.
