Old Style Butter Pound Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 lb. butter (salted)
1 2/3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Mix on low speed.
Cream the butter until soft.
Add the sugar while the mixer is running.
Beat until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix well after each.
Add flour and salt.
Mix until smooth. Add vanilla and almond extract with milk.
Mix until smooth.
Pour into loaf pan.
Bake 75 to 90 minutes at 325\u00b0 or until done.
