Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 red bell peppers
    12 green bell peppers
    6 large onions
    1 qt. vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Put peppers and onions through grinder and coarsely grind. Do not save the juice.
    Pour boiling water over this mixture and let stand for 3 minutes and drain.
    Repeat this one more time. Add to the vinegar, sugar and salt and boil exactly 15 minutes. Wonderful as an accompaniment for fish, chicken, beef, etc.
