Lemon Angel Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. egg whites (4 large, reserve yolks)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vinegar
1 c. sugar
Preparation

Beat egg whites until frothy.
Add salt and vinegar.
Continue beating until stiff.
Gradually add sugar (about 2 tablespoons at a time), beating thoroughly after each addition.
Continue beating until all sugar is dissolved and mixture is very stiff.
Spread in well-greased and floured 9-inch pie pan, making edges slightly higher than center.
Bake in slow oven, 275\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours. Cool.
