Chicken Cheese Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    2 c. milk
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
    1 c. diced cooked chicken
    2 Tbsp. chopped canned pimiento
    dash of salt
    1 c. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
    dash of paprika or ground mace
Preparation
    Cook bacon, drain and reserve drippings. Crumble bacon.
    Put 2 tablespoons reserved drippings in saucepan.
    Add onion and green pepper. Cook until tender. Add milk, soup, chicken, pimientos, salt and half the bacon.
    Heat through.
    Add cheese.
    Stir to melt.
