Sugarless Cherry Chews - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
1 c. cottage cheese, drained and sieved
1/4 c. dairy sour cream
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
whole red glaze cherries or thick jam or fruit filling
Preparation

Beat butter until light and fluffy.
Blend in cottage cheese and sour cream.
Stir in flour and salt until thoroughly mixed. Chill dough if it's too soft to handle.
Using rounded teaspoons of dough, shape into balls.
Flatten center with fingers and place whole cherry or fruit filling in indentation.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Remove and cool completely.
